[RP] Chapter 1: The Beginning of it all

"Arc, you may leave. You too Train, you may leave aswell." Ryu comes rushing in just as Arc left. "Ah, Ryu, I've heard much of you, all but your name. I'm pretty sure you could tell me that. Either way, I do have a job for you aswell. You are to follow Arc, give him these papers." He places a few papers on the table for Ryu to pick up. "You are going to be apart of Arc's platoon, I urge you not to mess up, for I know Arc very well, and he is quite ruthless." He moves his hair to show a scar on his forehead. "This is what he gave me in training." Kariou goes to look at the laptop, taps a few keys. "Your dismissed. Oh, and Ryu, Your punishment for oversleeping, although due to a 'natural' cause, is to clean the toilets today. Ill be in at 22 hundred hours to inspect them."

@ the scar:
Sighs in utter relief thank God he says to himself. He salutes the Raven's Nest Lord and leaves... he sees a glimpse of Arcs arm and race towards him with the papers gripped firmly in his hand. "Excuse me! SIR! MR. ARC, SIR!" Ryu bumps into a barrack mate he remembers thuroughly from boot camp... Train... that was his name. "Sorry Train... gotta get to Arc. Where's he headed???"

Kariou's Edit: Raven Knights Lord. And your first line... thats not RPing... making sure you know that ahead of time.

Siken laughs at Ryu childishly, "Man you are slow.. I don't know where he went, I have my own matters to attend too." Walks away leaving the briefing room, waving his hand at Kariou. "Letah Kariou!" "Man.. i hope this tracking job won't be too hard.. " Siken, sighs.

*Ryu huffs angrily* Gee Train you're sure a lot of help *Ryu remembers how he stuck his hand out serveral times to get Train's help and he snubbed him... how was this time supposed to be different?* Ryu continues walking in the direction he thought he saw Arc going... Train and eveyone else were out of site. Ryu got it in his mind he'd have to search all over the place for his platoon leader otherwise he would've joined for nothing other than a bit of physical training... At the last minute... Arc's office... he knocked hoping he was there...

"What are you doing?" Arc says as he walk up. "Your Ryu arent you?"

*He nods almost before his name was said* "I'm sorry sir. My alarm clock, the sleepless few nights I've had... I'm sorry again. These papers are the one's that the guy Kariou told me to deliver to you." *Sighs again... nervous breathing is easily heard... heart beating eradically* "I am normally in more subconcious control sir. But under the circumstances..."

Arc takes the papers from his hand. "Kariou showed you the scar didnt he? You should know that he started it." He stares at Ryu with a look as if he is looking at his very soul. "I have high expectations of you. So dont mess up or you will have to face you punishment." Arc chuckles to himself. "

Kariou's Edit: He got a punishment already... no need for another.

*Nods to the question Arc proposed to him. Sighs another sigh of relief* "That's a relief. And to tell you the truth, I was nervous because I acutally thought I was being shipped back home and it would've been so hard to deal with that... I'll make sure not to screw up again. So other than Kariou's task of having the bathrooms cleaned before 22 hundred... what might you have me do as punishment???" Heart beginning to beat at a more steady pace...

"Well since you didnt listen to me the first time i am gonna make you run 800 laps around the station on you hands Before you do you punishment for Kariou." Arc got a sinister grin across his face. "You will refer to me or Kariou as sir. For you not doing that you will have to run another 300 laps."

Kariou leaves the briefing room and heads towards Arc's office, something didnt feel right leaving a new recruit to a hardened veteran. Walking down the hall passing some recruits on their way to get tested and going to boot camp. He finally gets there. "Arc..." He says in a normal tone but not before over hearing some of the conversation.

"Well since you didnt listen to me the first time i am gonna make you run 800 laps around the station on you hands Before you do you punishment for Kariou." Arc got a sinister grin across his face. "You will refer to me or Kariou as sir. For you not doing that you will have to run another 300 laps."

"Well Arc, going hard on others again? Look, take it easy on him, hes still a soft ball of dough. Remember this... the next time I'm not going to be here, so, forget to call one of us Sir... and youll have to do as he says. Other than that, ignore the lap order, and get to training. The same goes for you Arc."

"Right, thats what i was on my way to doing." Arc said to kariou. "You got lucky this time Ryu. Welcome to my platoon." Arc said as he began jogging down the hallway narrowly missing a new recruit that looked lost.

Siken peaks out of his dorm to hear all the comotion. "Arc not again.. Stop with the newbs already will ya?" Siken shakes his head and returns to his dorm. "The nerve of that guy.." he says to himself.

*Ryu's facial expression changed to a puzzled look* "On my hands sir?" he said trying to ask with utmost respect, but without showing his indignity. He pondered it. On your hands Ryu. Address me as sir.... It kept replaying in his head... then Kariou comes in... after listening to what he said, giving almost a smirk as Kariou usurped his authoity... "Don't look at me like that son. I'm giving you leeway! To the training! Double time!" *Ryu saluted* Yes sir!

"I think it is time to give Ryu some hands on training." Arc began to smile. "Guess i need to go talk to Kariou about it." He then start walking around looking for Kariou.

Continues down the hallway slowly attempting to take in all that had occured so far... the insomnia... the screwing up... I think the worst is behind me now finds the door... TRAINING itz like a danger room I used to read about in those old xmen comix heh heh

"Hmm guess i cant find him." Arc begins heading to the gym to get some training in. Arc enters the gym to find a bunch of recruits in there fumbling about with the weights. "Pff weaklings." he thinks to himself as he picks up two 70 lbs dumbells and begins to curl them effortlessly.

while others are fooling with the weights, Ryu stands at attention awaiting further orders... wanting desperately not to screw up....

"Ryu what are you doing just standing around." Arc said as he was putting up his dumbbells. "Hurry up and start training." Arc moves over to the leg press machine and puts weights on it. He stops after putting 400 lbs on it, and begins to press the weight.

Looks over at pull up bar... Ryu begins doing pull ups... with 20 leg weights equating to about 245 pound weight....

Arc begins moving about the room doing various different things.

After quite sometime passed by begins heading towards the door. He walks out the room and down the hall where there is still recruits walking around. He took the long way back to his room in a attempt to see one of his subordinates doing something they shouldnt be. He finally makes it back to his room." Time to get some sleep." Arc thought as he lied down.

Ryu changed from push ups to curl ups from that pull up bar... hangs upside down and curls upward over and over... after about two and a half hours in the gym, Ryu, as he was told for waking up late, cleaned up all the bathrooms in the base... Squeaky clean... Ryu did it all with smile on his face.after no more than 2 hours after that he was done. All will be well now... I can feel it Ryu thought to himself smiling even harder, waited around for some time for Kariou to come back and looked at the clock, 12:45 am! I gotta go to bed, I can't be late again... So he went back to his bunk after a quick shower and layed down, set his alarm clock and slept... smiling...

Siken comes out of his room looking as if he was drunk, and walked in a non-straight forward manor towards Arc's room. He knocks on Arc's door 3 times, waiting for an answer.

Ryu wakes up in his brig at 8:00... Remembering not to idle to long in his room, Ryu got up, dressed, and ready for the new day at hand...
